History/Events
In December 1947 Sunday School were begun in the Clearwater Lake section of Mt. Holly. The program was begun by First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Holly. Attendance grew and on September 3, 1950 the Presbyterian Church U.S. organized Westview Presbyterian Church with thirty charter members. On August 1, 1954 the church called its first full time pastor. On June 1, 1996 the congregation voted to affiliate with First Presbytery of the ARP Church. The Westview congregation continues today to serve Mt. Holly in the name of Jesus Christ through reverent worship, challenging teaching, vibrant women's ministry, community outreach and encouraging outreach. Dec. 23 - Children's Candle Lighting followed by cookies and milk at 5:00 p.m.
Dec. 24 - Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Worship at 11:00 p.m.
